How to install WorldEdit Mod 1.16.2/1.15.2 (In-Game Voxel Map Editor)

Follows 5 Steps bellow to install WorldEdit Mod 1.16.2/1.15.2 on Windows and Mac :
1. You need ready installed Minecraft Forge.
2. Download a Forge compatible mod from url download, or anywhere else!
3. Open Minecraft, click ->> ‘Mods' button on the main menu, click – >> ‘Open Mods Folder'.Important: Some older versions of Forge may not have the ‘Open Mods Folder' button. If that is the case, you need to find the folder manually. Windows:

Download Minecraft Forge Installer, the file WorldEdit Mod. Right-click Forge Installer, Run as Administrator and click OK to install Forge. (You can skip this step if you have Minecraft Forge installed). 🛑 Make sure that you are using the Java version of Minecraft. Install Minecraft Forge or Fabric. Download WorldEdit from this page. Put the WorldEdit mod file into your mods folder.

Browse and download Minecraft Worldedit Maps by the Planet Minecraft community. The World Edit Tools Mod adds a wand to the game which can be used to more effeciently edit the world in-game. Blocks can be selected and cloned, expanded and deleted. It's incredibly simple to use but offers a very advanced way for builders to improve their building efficiency.

  • Press the Windows key and R at the same time
  • Type %appdata% and press enter
  • Find the Minecraft folder and then look for the Mods folder within that

Mac:

  • Click on the desktop and then press Command+Shift+G all at the same time
  • Type ~/Library and press enter
  • Open the folder Application Support and then Minecraft

4. Place the mod file downloaded (.jar or .zip) into the Mods folder.
5. Relaunch Minecraft, and you should now see the new mod installed in the list!

We officially support WorldEdit for Bukkit.

  1. Find the plugins folder inside your Bukkit server's folder.
  2. Place the downloaded '.jar' file in your plugins folder.
  3. Start your server as you may have done before.
  4. Either configure your permissions plugin (if you are using one); otherwise, use/op your_name to make yourself a server operator.

We officially support WorldEdit for MinecraftForge.

  1. Find the mods folder inside your Minecraft client/server's folder.
  2. Place the downloaded '.jar' file in your mods folder.
  3. Start your server or client as you may have done before.
  4. Either configure your permissions plugin (if you are using one); otherwise, use/op your_name to make yourself a server operator.

We officially support WorldEdit for Fabric.

  1. Find the mods folder inside your Minecraft client/server's folder.
  2. Place the downloaded '.jar' file in your mods folder.
  3. Start your server or client as you may have done before.
  4. Either configure your permissions mods (if you are using one); otherwise, use/op your_name to make yourself a server operator.

We officially support WorldEdit for Sponge.

  1. Find the mods folder inside your Sponge server's folder.
  2. Place the downloaded '.jar' file in your mods folder.
  3. Start your server as you may have done before.
  4. Either configure your permissions plugin (if you are using one); otherwise, use/op your_name to make yourself a server operator.

MinecraftEdu comes bundled with an (older) version of WorldEdit. While we can assist with usage of WorldEdit, we are unable to assist with the update or installation of WorldEdit with MinecraftEdu.

We do not officially support LiteLoader, but you can downloadan unofficial WorldEditWrapperthat supports Minecraft 1.7.2.

Note! Some features, such as setting biomes or copying and pasting chests may not work with this version.
